pretty cell phones: sony ericsson z310

Hi everyone! Today I want to tell you about my favorite cell phone EVER, the Sony Ericsson z310. It's a cute flip phone that came out in 2007, and it comes in black, bronze, and pink. (I had the pink one.) Its functions are pretty basic; you can call people, text/voice/multimedia messages, take pictures, email, create notes and tasks, and add events to your calendar.

It has some special features that I haven't seen in other phones. As you can see in the first picture, there is a row of icons that light up. The arrow is for a missed call, the envelope for a new text message, the lightning bolt for when it's charging, and the music note for when silent mode is turned on. These icons make it so you can glance at your phone to see if you have a new text without having to open your phone. (Which I found helpful during school). It also has cool light effects, and when the phone is open the light effects are fixed to blue. You can assign a different light effect to each contact.

The phone is very smooth and sleek, and although the display screen isn't the best quality, I really like the buttons. They are soft and don't make loud clicky noises, and it's very easy to text with.


Two more special features I really like are that when you have an incoming call, a little moving arrow appears on the outer screen (if the phone is closed) and the contact's name pops up (where it says "Murtazin"). Also, when you receive a text message, the little screen tells you who it's from (where it says "Eldar"), and the blue light effects flash. You can also record songs/ sounds and make your ringtone and message alert anything you want.











Finally, here is a picture of the light effects. These light up when you get a text message, an incoming call, or whenever you have the phone flipped open. This is the green color, and there is a long list of colors to choose from. Some of them are apricot, disco, light orange, light yellow, light green, light pink, pink, orange, yellow, techno (my favorite), and red. The phone will always light up when you call it, which is very helpful if you misplace it and it's on silent mode (which happened to me a lot), because you can just turn all the lights off and call the phone and look for the lights.








I know this phone works with an AT&T sim card, but I'm not sure what other cell phone programs are compatible with it. This phone is great for your first cell phone, or if you care more about looks over function.
